Kathy has been coaching for over 30 years, training with elite coaches such as Kathy Casey and John Nicks.  She has accomplished the rating of Certified Freestyle and Registered Group through the PSA. She is also a Gold Test Judge for ISI. Her expertise includes development of the well rounded skater with emphasis on proper edge management through Moves in the Field coupled with technical Jump and Spin theory.  Kathy attends continuing education seminars annually and is up to date on the new International Judging System.  Her choreography encompasses all aspects of the new judging system combined with artistry and flow.  Working with the psychology of the skater is also a major focus of her teaching, resulting in taking competitive skaters all the way to the Regional and National levels.
