Coaching is critical to advancement in figure skating.  Group and/or private coaching are available to all skaters at the Ft. Myers Skatium.  Coaches are affiliated with the Club, but operate as independent contractors, therefore all contact should be made directly with the individual coaches.  A list of authorized coaches is provided below.  If you are interested in participating in shows or competitions you will want to consult with a private coach.  Questions regarding proper skates, music, program elements, competition rules and regulations, and skating technique can all be answered by your coach.

Coaches' fees are determined by the individual coach and payment is made directly to the coach.  Private lessons can be conducted on either a public session or freestyle session, but the ice fee is separate from the coaching fee.  Ice fees are paid directly to the skating facility.  Multiple session packets can be purchased at a reduced fee.  This information is available at the front desk or at the Ft.
